The Eco Warriors spent their time this visit cleaning up the beach by the pier.

Please! Refuse Styrofoam! It is disheartening to see all of the styrofoam littering our beaches and oceans, where it is ultimately destined to be consumed by all of the sea life.

Trash washes up on our beaches every day. No matter what time of day you visit the beach, you will find all kinds of trash and plastic washing up. Don’t let it wash back into the ocean. Trash containers are plentiful, pick it up and deposit it into one as you leave the beach.

The sea life will thank you!

The Eco Warriors were out in force on April 25, and had plenty of things to clean up even after Earth Day cleanups. Styrofoam, plastic everything, cigarette butts. Sigh. We enjoyed a treat at Chau Pain afterwards. Come and join us next time, on TUESDAY, May 31, 8:30 am at the Pier. See you there!
