Guest Speaker: Emily Wanous

Topic: Regenerative Agriculture

Emily Wanous, Community Relations and Marketing Coordinator will begin with an overview of The Ecology Center's mission and programs. She will go over the importance of regenerative agriculture and how folks can integrate regenerative practices (integration of animals, cover cropping, no/low till, perennial plants, etc.) in their own homes and gardens. In addition, we will discuss what permaculture is and how we can live more sustainably in our day-to-day lives. I will share easy tips that we can adopt to manage our resources better, such as putting a brick in the back of your toilet to save 1/4 gallon of water every time you flush!
