Prima Deshecha Landfill Tour
On January 25th, a tour of thePrima Deshecha Landfill was scheduled as an event by the Eco Warriors. This event was filled to capacity by the numbers of club members who had an interest in the tour.
THE HARRIS HAWK
The highlight of the tour was the appearance of the handler of the Harris Hawk. Although he only recently obtained this young hawk, it has already proven its worth by keeping the landfill free of other birds that would be digging and scavenging as the trucks dump their loads of trash.
